地處長白山腳下的二道白河鎮，素有“長白山第一鎮”的美稱，因坐落于二道白河兩岸，故此得名。

松花江源頭二道白河穿城而過，沿河兩岸有天池水畔公園，這里野生動物與人和諧共存，中華秋沙鴨，綠頭鴨成群結對在河畔嬉戲。

長白山二道白河鎮打造“慢城、慢行、慢生活”的生活理念。建成步行道70公里、50公里的自行車慢行系統環繞小鎮，WiFi全覆蓋，800輛公共自行車投放到各個服務驛站，自由存取，自行車騎行愛好者三五成群的在慢行綠道上騎行，慢行系統的建設讓小鎮生活“慢下來”。

午后時光，最適宜在小鎮中漫步，在靜謐的氛圍中與長白山的天空、森林不期而遇。

Edelweiss River Town, located at the foot of Changbai Mountain, is known as "the No.1 Town of Changbai Mountain". It’s named after the nearby Erdaobai River.

Edelweiss River, the source of Songhua River, runs through the town, alongside with Tianchi Riverfront Park, where wildlife and people live in harmony, while Chinese mergansers and mallards groups playing on the river.

In the town, there is gentle sunshine, the breeze, slowly flowing river, and wildfowl playing on the river. Here, you can experience slower and slower pace, deeper and deeper lifestyle and more and more sense of happiness.

Town’s recreational areas include: Tianfu Street of special Changbai Mountain local cultural characteristics, Changbai Mountain Natural Museum, Changbai Mountain Stones and Sculpture Park, Beauty Pine Park, Northeast Asia Botanical Garden.

Edelweiss Town is a beautiful and quiet town, ancient and modern at the same time. "Slow Life" has become an essential part of people's lives.

Edelweiss River Town creates a philosophy of "slow city, slow walking, slow life". The following has been completed: walking trails of 70 km, biking road system of 50 km surrounding the town,  full coverage of WIFI, 800 public bicycles serviced at each service stops with free accessibility. Biking enthusiasts ride in small groups on the slow lane or green line, slowing down the whole life of the town.

Late afternoon is most suitable for a stroll in the town, bumping into the pure sky and green forest of Changbai Mountain in quiet atmosphere.
